Momma I'm comin home

Momma I'm comin home.(sung like Ozzy) Can't wait to be back home in just a few days. Looking forward to being close to my friends and family. Not to mention the lady (pictured above) that makes me the luckiest man alive.

Words can't describe how happy I am going to be to be back in the good ole US of A. Back to my life. July 29th I should be on a bird to the land of the free and home of the brave.

I have only been here a little over 2 months. Just wasn't really ready to leave the US so quickly after my 6 months in the desert.

I was home long enough to know how much I missed it once I left again.

ok, since you are finally going to be around the states for awhile i am going to give you a to do list prior to departing germany.

1) eat as many brats as you can

2) dance a polka

3) go to a german local bar to watch the tour de france and scream "go lance! live strong! USA! USA! USA!"

4) go to the world's largest coo-coo clock and coo-coo back at it.

5) play lot's of video games, since you don't have a gaming system back in the states.

6) call your friends during the german daytime (when we are sleeping) w/ your skype computer phone. if they answer start a conversation and then just hang up and blame it on a poor internet connection. if you get the answering machine leave a long detailed message about nothing inparticular.

7) go find one of those smart cars and turn it sideways in its parking space. they look lighter than the GEO's we used to do that to back in college.

8) go to a beer hall

9) go exercise off all of the brats you have eaten while in germany

10) start packing now, because i am sure you have 18 bags full of crap that you never even used. (you are a true boy scout - "be prepared")

Current progress on B's To Do list.

1. Current record is 5 in one day. I keep trying to extend that.

2. This might be tough. They only really listen to American Rap music or crappy techno anywhere close to the base.

3. I will work on this. Current progress is that I have watched the Tour in a bar and chanted "Tour De Lance." The bar was on base filled with American militray so the beating that you were hoping I would get wasn't going to happen. Thanks buddy.

4. Here again your creative reins superior to mine. I visited the Coo-coo clock but didn't coo-coo back at it. My bad

5. I think that I have logged enough hours to say this one is complete. What can I say maybe the military should just pay me to play video games.

6. I am going to have to work on this one. Normally it is easiest for me to call during the night here(day time back home). The internet connection cutting out isn't a problem since I am scamming it anyways. Man you think that they could at least let me scam some decent wireless over here. My goal on leaving a message is to get decent enough internet connection to leave a message(containing no important information) so long that the operator cuts me off and asks me if I want to leave a call back number.

7. Those stupid Smart cars are all over the place. I think Gerome and I can figure something out in regards to this goal. Just glad that caining isn't legal over here for moving a vehicle.

8. Haven't found a beer hall yet but I will keep my eyes open. I still have to find a place to buy a huge beer just to walk around with.

9. My handy dany BOSU and exercise ball have helped me make great progress on the surplus of brats my system has consumed.

10. The only reason that I am letting you get away with this one is because you are my boy. Well that and you hit the nail right on the head. I have already started boxing clothes up to send home a week before I leave. Hey all I have to say is that you have to have options. Just not as many as I seem to have. Anyone need and black t-shirts or black socks?
